The Fuller Family Papers consist of records from Ralzymon W. Fuller and Augustus W. Fuller. This collection was originally donated by James E. Hall to Historic Robeson Inc. in 1988. It was later given to Livermore Library by former Judge and local historian Henry A. McKinnon in August 2001 where it remains on permanent loan.
Ralzymon W. Fuller (born in 1803), originally from Farmington, Connecticut, owned a business in Lumberton where he primarily sold land to various families. After his death on March 21, 1846, he passed down his business to his son, Augustus W. Fuller. His documents consist of land deeds, receipts, and a subpoena from the Court House of Lumberton.
Augustus W. Fuller was born on October 5, 1830, and worked in Lumberton as both a merchant and an administrator of the estate of Richard Clinton Rhodes. His work included selling land as well as the interests of Richard Clinton Rhodes. This collection consists of his account book, receipts for various purchases including enslaved persons, certificates, bills, newspaper clippings, land deeds, a soap recipe, and documents for an Aetna Life Insurance policy.
