Wesley D. White, also known as Wes Taukchiray, born 1948, is an ethnohistorian and author who has published many works relating to American Indians of the American southeast. He graduated from the University of South Carolina, where many of his publications are housed, in 1969 with a B.A. in anthropology and a minor in history.
