Battle of Hayes Pond
This collection contains newspaper articles, magazines, and correspondence related to the lead-up to the Battle of Hayes Pond, the days following the event, and the aftermath. Also included are Ku Klux Klan propoganda, a scrapbook of newspaper clippings concerning the event, and numerous firsthand accounts from those who witnessed the event.
Environmental Oral Histories of Southeastern North Carolina
This collection consists of audio interviews conducted by UNCP students with Robeson County community members. The interviewees recount their upbringing, their experiences, and how the community they grew up in has changed over time. These interviews were conducted over the course of three years, from 2013-2016.
